Good News for Racoon Dogs but Bad News for Humanity: Robert Redfield Speaks the Truth (for the most part) about the Dangers of Gain of Function Research.
Louis Conte’s The Truth be Told: Exploring corruption, controversy, and deception in today’s world from the perspective of a forensic psychophysiologist (Polygraph Examiner).
Louis Conte is a professional Polygraph Examiner, investigator, and writer. In addition to the thousands of offenders he interviewed over his thirty-three years in law enforcement, Conte has conducted over fourteen hundred polygraph cases. He uses well-honed observation skills to ferret out the truth. Observation and careful attention to words and behavior often reveal the truth.
Last week I penned an article about my belief that Dr. Anthony Fauci was not being truthful in his testimony before the Senate, particularly in his heated interactions with Senator Rand Paul. I made that assertion because, in my opinion, Fauci was clearly demonstrating behavior consistent with the fight or flight response.
People have asked, “What do truthful responses look like?” In dealing with the same topic that Fauci was questioned about – whether Covid started as a lab leak and whether the U.S. government funded the Wuhan Lab - Dr. Robert Redfield, the retired Director of the CDC, provides insight.
Let me begin by saying that I might not agree with Dr. Redfield or the CDC on many things. However, on this issue, I find his direct, clear candor on the issue of lab leaks, gain of function experiments and the treatment of those who question the official Covid narrative, refreshing. In this interview on The Rising, Redfield answers questions clearly and directly. There are moments when he averts his eyes when talking about other researchers but, overall, he impresses as honest and concerned about on-going laboratory virus manipulation in this interview.
Redfield is first asked about a story in the New York Times claiming that new data links the Covid pandemics origins to Racoon Dogs. Redfield is asked whether the report adds anything to the discussion about the origins of the pandemic.
“No. I don’t think it really adds anything…”
Redfield then goes on to say why the report means little. He also points out that the mainstream media seems overly willing to promote any claim, regardless of the quality of the information, that elevates the theory that the pandemic was a natural “spillover event” from an animal to people.
But notice the simplicity of the answer – “No.” In my experience, when people are being truthful, they often say the truth clearly and directly, without paragraphs of dialogue designed to divert the people asking questions away from the issue at point.
Redfield exonerates Racoon Dogs and goes on to say that other animals – everything from White Tail Deer, canines, felines and even minks – can carry Covid. He points out that the authors of the Proximate Origins paper should retract their publication as the timeline the authors site for the onset of the Covid epidemic is incorrect. The paper was published within days of the now legendary Fauci phone call that Redfield was not invited to participate in.
Notice that Redfield averts his eyes – something he does not typically do - when he describes the authors of the Proximate Origins paper as being “men and women of integrity.” When making this statement, Redfield does not make eye contact with the interviewers.
Always look for subtle changes in facial expressions, eye contact, eyebrow curling, pace and volume of words when a subject is answering questions. Redfield’s words are contradicting what he really thinks about the authors of Proximate Origins.
Redfield then addresses his view that Fauci and Collins at the National Institutes of Health should have aggressively led an investigation into both the natural spillover and lab leak hypotheses and failed to do so. Natural spillover was promoted, and the lab leak theory was ridiculed. Redfield points out that this was a mistake and antithetical to true science. Redfield points out that while he has been a “friend and colleague of Fauci and Collins”, they disagree on this issue. He states, “They have been strong advocates of gain of function research. I have been a strong advocate for a moratorium on gain of function research because I do believe it is very probable that this pandemic was a direct consequence of science.” Redfield notes that several federal government departments – NIH, USAID, the State Department, and DOD – funded gain of function research. Rather than simply pointing the finger at China, he strongly infers that we should look in the mirror. In addition to China, the United States and Europe have actively supported research devoted to manipulating viruses to make them more dangerous.
Redfield then goes on to detail his concerns that the next major pandemic will likely be “much more brutal” than the Covid Pandemic ever was and that it will likely be caused by leak from a lab where viruses are being manipulated. As he lays this awful possibility out for the audience, Redfield’s eyes indicate profound concern.
The entire interview is well worth your viewing time. I will end the analysis with this clip from Dr. John Campbell who simply lays out information on the world-wide scope of an industry that is devoted to manipulating viruses.
The awful potential that Robert Redfield and John Campbell and others are warning humanity about is not inevitable. The truth be told, the next pandemic can be averted by a world-wide moratorium on gain of function research.
Watching Fauci squirm and sharing our observations in our IPAK class was so much fun. Thank you.
I am so intrigued by these videos, especially when viewed with the skill set you're teaching us in IPAK. I was raised by wonderful, honest parents, & I grew up thinking all people were honorable, like my mom & dad. I was wrong, of course, & it cost me the misery of surviving an abusive marriage with a narcissist. So many others saw the signs in his behavior, but I missed them all. Once I discovered Joe Navarro's books, a whole world opened up. This Substack & our class expand on his work by providing real-world examples for us to analyze with an expert. What a blessing! Thank you, Louis!
