Jake Tapper Says that Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. Has Lied About Big Pharma Co-Opting the Mainstream Media – But His Own Body Language Indicates Deception
Louis Conte’s The Truth be Told: Exploring corruption, controversy, and deception in today’s world from the perspective of a forensic psychophysiologist (Polygraph Examiner).
Louis Conte is a professional Polygraph Examiner, investigator, and writer. In addition to the thousands of offenders he interviewed over his thirty-three years in law enforcement, Conte has conducted over fourteen hundred polygraph cases. He uses well-honed observation skills to ferret out the truth. Observation and careful attention to words and behavior often reveal the truth.
The Rising recently covered an interview with Jake Tapper on Pod Save America.
Interviewer: “Would you do a town hall with someone like Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.?”
Tapper: “I would not. He spreads dangerous misinformation about childhood vaccines.”
Tapper’s arms are tightly folded in front of his chest as his eyes dart around the room. Is he looking for an escape route or is he making sure that the camera is capturing something that he needs to say?
Perhaps something Tapper is required to say?
Tapper’s face is permanently fixed in a grimace. Even in the few fleeting moments when he attempts a smile, his grin is absorbed by his permanent frown. His arms are clutching his torso - acting as a barrier, preserving his personal space. Tapper covers his chin with his hand, squirming in his seat. He is finding it difficult to sit still as he nervously shifts his feet. Tapper is guarded and tense; his eyebrows are raised and his forehead furrows indicating stress. Tapper stammers and raises himself out of his seat when describing his “professional personal experience” with RFK, Jr. It appears that Jake Tapper is experiencing the fight or flight response. Tapper brings up the fact that Rolling Stone Magazine retracted an article Kennedy wrote about mercury in vaccines in 2005 and says, “They disappeared it. It was like Hoffa.”
It is a bad joke and an inappropriate analogy.
In a setting where the interviewers are not hostile in any way, it is remarkable to see a trained media professional acting as though he is being treated like a hostile witness in a criminal proceeding.
Tapper then says that Kennedy “Lies about the experience [with him 2005] frequently as an example about how the media is co-opted by Big Pharma.” He pulls on his right ear – another indication that he needs to soothe himself.
As the video cuts to the two hosts of The Rising news program, Robert Soave sarcastically remarks “It’s a lie to say that the media is co-opted by Big Pharma?”
Briahna Joy Gray comments that News Nation is holding a Town Hall meeting with Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. hosted by Elizabeth Vargas later that evening. Gray also notes that RFK, Jr. is bypassing Tapper, CNN and other legacy media outlets and speaking to independent journalists and podcasters. CNN ratings have been in the basement for years. Kennedy is deploying a campaign strategy that renders CNN irrelevant.
Mr. Kennedy addressed his 2005 entanglement with Tapper on his Substack page, American Resurrection. The Day Jake Tapper Sold His Soul to Pharma (substack.com) and has a very different take on his interaction with Jake Tapper.
Here we are, eighteen years later, and Tapper is not only defending himself but denying the fact that Big Pharma has excessive influence over the media. In my opinion, Tapper is a person being directed to lie. Not only for himself, but for the industry that runs his network and pays his salary.
Several CNN programs begin with “brought to you by Pfizer.” I counted no less than seven drug commercials in less than fifteen minutes of watching CNN (please, forgive me…). According to Satista, the pharmaceutical industry spent 4.58 billion dollars on television advertising in 2020.
The pharmaceutical industry wields massive power over what is shown on CNN and other legacy media outlets. Anyone who has turned on a television recently knows this to be true.
Truth be told, Jake Tapper knows it too.
Thank you Lou! Tapper’s uncomfortable behavior leaves me so curious for the bigger-picture. No doubt, Tapper’s overseers have him under a microscope. Tapper likely having to hold a hard line against Bobby’s piercing truth is a losing proposition. History won’t be kind to Tapper for spewing mainstream rhetoric while so many are harmed by pharma. Regardless, it would be an awesome addition to see a copy of CNN’s Tapper employment contract.
Thank you Louis! Spot on about Tapper and all of legacy media. RFK Jr. our next president.
